Teepee sleepover parties

A teepee sleepover is a magical indoor experience set up at your home. For example in your lounge, rumpus, garage, or other accommodation such as an Airbnb or hotel/motel. 

I come and create a teepee sleepover party that will truly transform your space and create a beautiful, unique party experience that your child and their guests will be sure to remember!

Taking the idea of building huts and forts in the lounge to a new level of epic! The children’s imaginations will run wild and they’ll treasure these memories forever.

What's Included in Slumber Parties

Your teepee slumber party includes:

  • Welcome sign
  • Airbeds
  • Electric pump
  • Fitted sheets 
  • Duvet covers with inners
  • Wooden teepee frames and canopies
  • Tray tables or bed trays
  • Fairy lights
  • Scatter cushions
  • Décor and other bits and pieces to compliment your chosen theme, this could include but will not be limited to buntings, garlands, faux flowers, vases, tea light or other night light, table decorations, soft toys or other props.

Things to note for Kids parties:

Laundering is included in all Teepee Sleepover costs. All I ask is that if anything is spilt on a duvet or sheet for example, that it is spot treated with water as soon as possible.

If a child has an ‘accident’ or gets a blood nose, or spills food or drink all over the duvet or sheet, or any other significant soiling (other than a spot or two) that you please put it through a cold wash straight away. It can be treated with stain remover if necessary, but please no bleach.

Teepee Partee Sleepover packages do not include sleeping pillows or pillowcases for hygiene reasons. The scatter cushions and pillows are for decoration only and are not to be slept on.     

Please ensure you ask your guests to bring a pillow.

If it is going to be particularly cold, children could bring a blanket or sleeping bag to put inside their bedding.

DIY Teepee party hire

DIY Teepee party hire is $40 per guest.  

Everything needed to setup your chosen teepee party theme is included.

DIY is pick up and drop off in Papamoa at an agreed time.

Full teepee party Hire

My full-service option is an additional $20 per Teepee (minimum of 3). 

This includes travel to and from your location on set up day (within my travel area) and returning the following morning to pack down. This also includes full setup and pack down so that everything is done for you!

Travel is included in my full-service option up to 25km from Papamoa East. Any further outside of these areas will incur a travel fee of $1 per km. 

If you are traveling to Tauranga and would like your teepee party set up for a special occasion at your Airbnb or other accommodation, this can also be arranged.

ADD ON the Pamper Party Experience!

Additional $20 per guest

If you think your daughter would love a touch of luxe and even more wow factor at her sleepover, you can add a pamper party experience!

This is a DIY add on package that allows the party guests to pamper themselves and each other, in the comfort of your home. It is super easy, and something fun and different to do. 

The pamper party experience includes:

  • 2 x face steamers
  • 2 x foot spas
  • Fluffy headbands
  • Satin robes
  • Mini clay mask mixing bowls and application brushes
  • Face cloths
  • Mirrors
  • Foot soak (handmade by me)
  • Gentle clay mask (handmade by me)
  • Mini pottles of gentle moisturiser
  • Plastic cady for the table with nail polish remover, cotton buds, cotton balls, nail files, nail stickers, glitters, a range of nail polishes to use. 
  • Boho table runner with additional décor bits and pieces

THINGS TO NOTE for a teepee pamper party:​

You do not need to wash the face cloths or robes, just re-hang the robes, and rinse then squeeze out the flannels and pop them in the wash bag provided.

Please make sure the foot spa is cleaned out and dry, and the face steamer has had the excess water tipped out and is dry.

Children are welcome to keep their pottle of moisturiser if they have any leftover. Everything else must be returned, thank you.

Teepee party themes

Themes can be adapted easily to suit favourite colours. Please don’t be shy to ask if you can mix things up a little and get your own creative ideas going!

You can also combine themes, if you have boys and girls etc. This does depend on availability, however if you book in advance I can usually make this happen.

Teepee Sleepover Party Hire

Teepee mattresses are standard single airbeds, these are 900mm x 1800mm. The wooden tents add roughly 90mm to each bed. Beds can be set up in a line side by side, in a curve, L shape, opposite eachother, or any other configuration that works for your space.

It is hard to say, every child is different! I have successfully set up for a 5th birthday and all of the children stayed in their beds all night long! I have set up for older kids and some have ended up going home. I have set up for a 15th birthday celebration and she and her friends had the best night ever.

I offer a DIY option, with pick up and drop off in Papamoa. I also offer a set up/pack away option for those who would prefer this. There is an additional cost for this service, and travel fee’s could apply if outside of my travel zone. 

If you are creative, or can follow a picture and how it looks, have the time, or the help, and you are not rushing, yes it is easy to set up.

There is a general consensus when DIY packages are returned by clients that they wished they had paid for me to do it…but this is usually due to lack of time and thinking they could fit everything in.

Hardly anyone finds the actual setting up/styling difficult! It is also super rewarding to know you have created that magical experience for your child!

Yes I do, if I have the capacity to, I am happy to travel.

There will be additional costs, but I am happy to discuss this with you based on your individual situation.

If you are doing DIY you are welcome to collect everything on the morning of your party from 8:30am.

Your equipment needs to be returned by 11:30am the following morning.

I can usually create totally unique looks out of the bedding and décor I have. However, if there is something super special you have in mind, please do ask, I absolutely love a challenge and also love creating new looks.

Your party will need to be paid in full if you are having a completely new and customised theme. 

I need a minimum guest number at the time of booking and when sending my invoice.

This can be added to up until the Wednesday prior to your party date.

Numbers can be reduced, however refunds cannot be given as the equipment for your party is allocated as soon as you book, so if you can fill these with other guests that would be the best solution. 

I pack my weekends worth of parties on Thursdays, so everything needs to be confirmed by then.

This all depends on how many teepee’s I am setting up, for example 5-6 takes me the best part of 2hrs.

You do not need to be home, a lot of the time I go and set up while the child is at school on a Friday, or while the family are out on Saturday. In each scenario they come home to the most magical surprise!

I am extremely efficient and trustworthy, so this is usually the best option!

In the rare occurrence this happens, please just send me a quick text or email to let me know what has happened.

If it is something that can be easily fixed that’s all good, no worries. If it is damaged or broken beyond repair, the replacement cost will be deducted from your bond. 

Unfortunately with the nature of airbeds, they can go down. Airbeds are inflated the night before a party and left all night, then deflated and folded up ready for the sleepover.

Sometimes, it is that one last fold on the seam which results in a slow leak during the party. This is something I can’t control or avoid, however I can provide a solution by way of spare airbeds and a pump so you can easily change the leaking one for a new one.

Please please do not let kids jump or bounce around on the airbeds to avoid damage to the seams also.
